tel: 604-616-6744 I'm Michelle MacInnis, a freelance Vancouver digital artist and designer. My work has spanned many platforms: web, print, television, and film. My most recent projects have been graphics for Lululemon, Article, CBC's 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, and for MLSE (Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment).
My most recent full-time position was with Astral Media in Toronto. I was a designer there for five years, and worked with the Family Channel, Disney Jr., Disney XD, HBO Canada and The Movie Network. I've also worked at a variety of smaller, boutique design shops, including Barbershop Films, Cuppa Coffee Animation, Headgear, MELD, and Trace. My experience extends to film and television compositing, at places like IMAX, where I stereo composited for conversion projects like Superman Returns and Harry Potter V. Once upon a time, I was also the in-house graphic designer and illustrator for Chapters Online, one of Canada's first large online retailers. I work primarily in Adobe CC - Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, and sometimes Premiere. I'm familiar with Nuke and Cinema 4D. I've also used Flash, Dreamweaver, Flint/Flame/Inferno, Shake, Avid, Final Cut, 3DS Max and Maya. If you're interested in working with me, need more info, or just want to say hello, I'd love to hear from you! |
